Expanding Our Trail System

Now that we've completed the three phases of our meadow recovery project our volunteers are ready to tackle our plan to extend our trail system throughout the Omena Woods property. 

In expanding the trail system our goals are:

• To connect the meadow clearings we've completed.

• To make the woods and the trails more available to Omena Woods Assocation members.

To provide greater access to our members, no matter where they live in the Omena Woods area, we plan to begin expanding the trails starting either near Omena Heights Road or Fire Lane 6 and taking that trail to the top of the hill.  This should make trail access easier for members whose property is located on the east side of Omena Woods.
