A UNIQUE PIECE OF THE WORLD
Everyone who comes to Omena knows what a special place it is - a unique piece of the world, relatively untouched by development and urban sprawl. We treasure the sparkling waters of the bay and the serenity of the woods.
We made a difference
In 1976 a small group of concerned property owners on Omena Point formed the Omena Woods Association to preserve the natural beauty of the peninsula and surrounding area and to protect it from threatened development.
Twenty five year's later, our membership has expanded dramatically and the Woods owns almost 110 acres of prime land which can be enjoyed for its beauty and recreational trails, but never developed.
